When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and company name. When you use our API, we process email addresses you submit for validation. These addresses are not stored — they exist only for the duration of the API request.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your account information to provide our services, send product updates, and offer customer support. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Email addresses submitted for validation are processed and immediately discarded.

3. Data Retention

Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. API usage logs (containing request metadata but never the email addresses validated) are retained for 90 days for support and debugging purposes. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

4. GDPR Compliance

ValidoAPI complies with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You have the right to access, correct, export, and delete your personal data. For data processing agreements (DPAs) required for Enterprise compliance, contact privacy@validoapi.com.

5. DPDP Act Compliance (India)

ValidoAPI complies with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDP Act). We act as a Data Processor when you use our API to validate customer data. We maintain appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data.
